CAT C7 18V Cylinder Head Resurface, customer didn’t want it washed, cleaned up, mag’d or anything, was a resurface only. First pass at .005”, entire middle cylinders weren’t even touched. Took 3 passes @ .011” total taken, head had .015” to start on thickness. Customer said it was for a yard truck that they didn’t want to put much into keeping it running. Customer was doing all the prep, wash and assemble work.

The two John Deere 6.404 Marine Engines have been picked up and were already reinstalled back into the boat. Owner is going to spend the winter hooking everything back up and it’ll be ready for the water first thing in the spring

6 weeks from removal, delivery, full machine work & rebuilding, pickup and being reinstalled

Machine work the last few weeks has been pouring in, these four finished blocks are all for the same customer out of Hartford, CT. area

Finished on the right include:
1. Detroit Diesel DD15
2. Cummins N14 Celect Plus
3. Detroit Diesel 12.7L
4. Cummins ISX CM871

We had crankshafts for every one of them also and connecting rods

CAT 3306T recently fully rebuilt for Polaro Sand & Gravel Inc. out of New York for there CAT 966G Wheel Loader

Machine Work Included:
- Measure Deck Height, Torque Check Main Line, Deck Block, Reset Counterbore Depths to Factory Specification, tap head bolt holes, remove camshaft bearings, brush out all oil galley passages, prep gasket surfaces, jet wash and install new camshaft bearings
- Crankshaft was ground undersize (video coming)
- Connecting Rods were Remanufactured x5
- Cylinder head received a full valve job and all new components

Deutz F6L912 fully rebuilt for a Timberjack 240A Skidder out of New Hampshire for Jon Parks Tractor, LLC. Doing the in and out work and machine repair is Francis Brown Equipment Repair out of Vermont. I’ll be doing a full rebuild post soon for this one.

John Deere 404 Marine Engine Test Run on 10/12, engine was fully rebuilt with Maxiforce engine components and SB International, Inc. valve train components. Customer recently had the injection pump and injectors rebuilt and we tested the injectors to make sure within specification. Getting painted and going back to Maine end of this week, thank you Steve!

CAT 3306DI for Polaro Sand & Gravel Inc. we just finished and test ran today. Engine is out of a CAT 966G Wheel Loader, engine has 33,000 hours on it which equates to 1.98 million miles. These 3306’s are a fantastic engine that we’ve spent years rebuilding for customers. This one received the kitchen sink of parts and machine work. Rebuild post coming, Thank You Scott and team!
