🌟 Employee Spotlight: Michael Lea 🌟

We are proud to recognize Michael Lea, a dedicated member of the Agricola Hardware family since April 2023. Michael serves as one of our fulltime delivery drivers and plays a vital role in keeping our operations moving smoothly every day.

Michael is most often behind the wheel of our 36foot tractortrailer, delivering large framing packages and long metal orders to job sites across the area. He takes great pride in his work and is always polite, professional, and attentive to our customers’ needs. Michael goes the extra mile to make sure deliveries are handled properly and that each customer is taken care of on site.

Family is the center of Michael’s world. He is a loving father to his two beautiful daughters, Audrey and Ariane, who truly are the light of his life. Raised in the Bexley community of George County, Michael moved throughout his life before settling in the Basin community, where he now proudly calls home.

Michael’s work history is as impressive as it is diverse. His story began with 15 years operating heavy equipment on pipeline projects, followed by a chapter of longhaul truck driving, allowing him to see the country from a different perspective. Eventually, Michael felt the calling to come home—to be closer to his daughters and family—which led him to Agricola Hardware. Since then, he has become one of the key moving parts of our operation.

In his free time, Michael enjoys riding his sidebyside at Wild Country Off Road, whether that’s trail riding or splashing through the mud. Fishing is another favorite pastime, giving him time to relax while learning patience and dedication. Michael is also an active member of Antioch Full Gospel Church, where his faith continues to guide him and strengthen his walk with the Lord.

Above all else, Michael’s greatest passion isn’t a hobby at all—it’s spending time with his daughters. Being a father is what drives him every day and gives meaning to everything he does. His time on the road often becomes time for reflection, prayer, and worship, listening to Jimmy Swaggart as he travels.

Michael is more than an employee—he is family. With a constant smile and a gentle spirit, he represents Agricola Hardware with integrity and professionalism wherever he goes. He is truly part of the backbone of our company, serving as the face of Agricola Hardware on the road and at job sites, carrying our values directly to our customers.
