Door Equipment Company Automatic Entrance Systems

01/08/2026

If your facility, university, store, or restaurant has automatic doorsā€¦ you should probably know these guys.

Youā€™ve likely seen our CEO, Stephan, around -- but meet Casey Starr, who joined Door Equipment Company last fall as our Business Development Manager.

While Casey isnā€™t the one turning the wrenches, he IS the one helping clients across Kentucky and Indiana get the right automatic door solutions for their facilities before issues slow operations down.

New year. New connections. Same doors working exactly like they should.

We promise the conversation wonā€™t getā€¦ unhinged šŸ˜‰

When guessing isnā€™t the plan.

ā€œProbably lockedā€ might work for your houseā€¦not so much for your business.

If an automatic door starts acting suspicious (weā€™ve all met that door), our team is ready to help.

If only holiday lights were as reliable as a perfectly tuned door operatorā€¦
From our whole team at Door Equipment Company, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Weā€™re grateful for every customer, every call, and every partnership this year.
Thank you for trusting us to keep your doors moving (and locking!) all season long.
Wishing you a warm, joyful, and restful holiday.

While most are wrapping gifts, our Emergency Techs are unwrapping door problems šŸŽšŸšŖ
Huge appreciation for the team working Christmas Eve to keep entrances secure and businesses protected. Silent night? Thatā€™s not an accident -- thatā€™s good door service.

If a door acts up tonight, donā€™t panic -- call the pros. Weā€™re happy to be your door elves! šŸŽ„ 1-877-DOOR-DOC

Itā€™s December 24ā€¦ these doors better be ready for closing time šŸŽ„šŸ”

Retail pros know: Christmas Eve is NOT the day you want your entrance acting up.
This morning at Target, we caught that satisfying moment when the lock clicks in perfectly, the calm before the last-minute-shopper storm.

If your doors have been sticking, dragging, or acting like theyā€™ve had too much eggnog, let's get them checked. Weā€™ve got you covered:

Ever walk into Costco in December and get hit with that blast of warm air.... like the building is whispering, ā€œWelcome backā€¦ we saved your usual cartā€? šŸ˜‚šŸ”„

That warm entrance at Costco comes from an automatic sliding door paired with an air curtain that pushes warm air down as you walk through. It keeps customers comfortable, keeps heat in, and honestlyā€¦ itā€™s the most festive greeting youā€™ll get outside of Santa himself.

If your entrance feels draftier than a reindeer barn, call us at 1-877-DOOR-DOC and weā€™ll get you fixed up fast.

We may have had a great time recreating one of our favorite holiday movie scenes -- but underneath the laughs, this oneā€™s really about gratitude.

This time of year reminds us how thankful we are for the customers who trust us every day, including Publix, Chick-fil-A, and Walmart. Itā€™s our way of saying thank you for keeping us busy, challenged, and doing what we love.

And a huge thanks to Stacy Griggs for joining us -- a dear friend whose creativity and humor make everything better. Weā€™re truly grateful for friends like Stacy in our circle.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at Door Equipment Company.

So grateful for this team.

They show up every day, do the work, and take pride in doing it right. That commitment to excellence is what keeps everything moving, and we appreciate it more than they know.

Automatic doors should do two things really well:
1ļøāƒ£ Work smoothly every day
2ļøāƒ£ Work differently when safety matters most

These NABCO overhead concealed swinging doors are unidirectional, but can break out for fire egress, and use SuperScan safety sensors that meet ANSI 156.10 standards.

Translation: smart design, safer buildings.
Because doors shouldnā€™t be the most exciting thing in your day.

ā€œThis is fineā€ is what we say when we donā€™t want to deal with it.
ā€œThis is betterā€ is what happens when we finally do šŸ˜„

Automatic doors shouldnā€™t struggle to keep up with busy entrances. When theyā€™re tuned and serviced right, everything flows smoother -- and everyone notices.

Life is better in color.
So are your doors.
