Yesterday, we celebrated a very special milestone as Johnnita officially retired from S&J Lighting.

For decades, Johnnita has been a familiar face to so many of our customers, vendors, and team members. Her dedication, kindness, and commitment helped shape the culture and relationships that have made S&J Lighting such a trusted local business in our community.

We’re incredibly grateful for the impact she’s had over the years and for the example she’s set through her hard work and care for others.

While we’ll miss seeing her in the office every day, we’re excited for her as she begins this next chapter, spending more time with family and future grandbabies.

💡Project Spotlight: DeSales High School Gym Upgrade

We’re proud to be part of the recent gym renovation at DeSales High School (Louisville, KY), where updated lighting was an important part of the project.

The old drop ceiling and existing 2x4 lay-in retrofit fixtures were removed and replaced with LED High Bays to deliver a cleaner look, strong light levels, and low glare performance for volleyball, basketball, PE classes, and everyday gym use.

Last week we hosted our 16th Annual Customer Appreciation Day at S&J Lighting. It was a great day connecting with our customers and vendor partners while celebrating 38 years in business.
