History

Albert B. Crush Co. is a fourth generation family-owned business serving the industrial market with electrical, mechanical and fluid drive products. The business was founded in 1933 in Louisville, Kentucky as a power transmission distributor for the Dodge-Master-Reeves product line. For over 60 years, the business was forged by its founder, A.B. Crush and his three sons, becoming one of the independent pioneers supplying mechanical drive and bearing components to the local conveyor market.

By 1980, electric motor controls were introduced and other locations were opened to facilitate the growth. In 1990, the Louisville office expanded its headquarters to include more office space and a growing inventory of electro-mechanical products. The Bowling Green, Kentucky branch was opened in 1990 to service the western region and the Frankfort, Kentucky branch was opened in 2004 for the eastern region.

In 2000, Albert B. Crush Co, became an authorized ABB/Baldor distributor, specializing in low voltage drives, electric motors and controls. In 2008, the company once again expanded its Louisville facility to include an EASA electric motor shop with AC/DC motor repair, gearbox/pump repair and technical field support.
