We kicked off the season at MHI with a full day of hands-on training focused on safety, equipment, and professional development.

Our crews completed:

Robotic mowing training

Ventrac & zero turn operation training

Health & safety reviews

Herbicide procedure training

Chainsaw safety training

Onsite equipment repair training

Investing in training helps ensure our team is prepared to work safely, efficiently, and deliver the highest quality service throughout the season. Excited for the season ahead and proud of the team’s commitment to continuous improvement.

There’s something powerful about stepping away from the day-to-day and coming together to serve the community as a team.

Our MHI volunteer day was all about restoration, teamwork, and purpose. Employees rolled up their sleeves to cut, chip, and remove brush, clear debris from the dam area, repaint signs, mow trails and fields, and treat invasive species to help restore and preserve the landscape for everyone who enjoys it.

The day also gave our team valuable hands-on experience using new equipment in a real-world setting — building skills, confidence, and collaboration.

One of the most inspiring parts of the day was seeing employees bring their families and kids to volunteer alongside the team. Watching everyone work together across generations made the experience even more meaningful and reinforced the importance of community, connection, and shared purpose.

A special thank you to Peaceful Acres for providing the delicious lunches that kept our volunteers fueled throughout the day.

We’re proud of the impact our team made — and we had a lot of fun doing it.

The Old is Still Good......

At MHI Solutions, we’ve been using our 2002 2500 Cummins Ram truck to deliver Ventrac mowing machines to solar sites for years—and it's still going strong.

The solar industry might be at the forefront of modern energy solutions, but keeping those vast solar fields well-maintained requires dependability on all fronts. The 2002 Ram, though old by most standards, is a reminder that “old” doesn’t mean obsolete. It’s been instrumental in ensuring that our state-of-the-art Ventrac equipment arrives where it needs to be, powering through rough terrain and long hauls, year after year.

Why replace what works? This truck has stood the test of time, much like the values we hold at MHI Solutions—commitment, sustainability, and reliability. It’s a workhorse that symbolizes our ability to blend the new with the old, creating a sustainable future with respect for the tools that got us here.
