Today we received notice from the USPTO that it has officially recognized Adroit’s ThermalX brand logo as “Incontestable”. This means it has been in use for 5 years and our rights to the mark and its use cannot be challenged. ThermalX is eco-friendly heat reflective patient warming products (caps, blankets, foot warmers, leg warmers, etc). They are economical Class 1 devices designed to help hospitals meet their SCIP-10-Inf requirements (“maintaining patient core temperature within a range of normal”).

Also from the USPTO today, we received notice of registration for three new trademarks; Soft-Air, VetPro and VetPad! These brands represent our forced air warming systems (human and veterinarian markets) and our heavy duty water-circulating warming pads also used by veterinarians.

Adroit Medical Systems is a contract manufacturer of medical devices specializing in patient warming systems. Adroit Medical Systems is also a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB).

Adroit is very proud to announce our customer Coolshirt.com landed a big role in the film The Martian, starring Matt Damon. CoolShirt’s blue "tube shirts" were prominent in several scenes, like the one shown here. The tube shirts are patented by Adroit and manufactured at our Tennessee factory. “Coolshirt” has literally become a buzzword on movie sets. The increasing popularity and brand recognition have driven impressive growth and expansion into new markets. Adroit is excited for CoolShirt’s growth and proud to be a part of their success.

Another hospital patient contacted us wanting our heating pad for home use. Hospitals don't sell medical devices, so patients will call us from their hospital bed! "Hey, my mom is currently in the hospital...She has been using the hot pack [HTP-1500] for severe back pain and oh my gosh what a difference this has made for her! I am wondering if there is anyway I can purchase one of these...? Please get back with me ASAP.
