Soybean Grain Cart Hopper Level Measurement

When an Illinois soybean farmer needed reliable level measurement of their grain cart hopper, they turned to Flowline. A belt conveyor moves beans from each silo to a portable grain cart, which then fills and transfers the beans to grain trucks. During which, the cart operator must maintain awareness of the bean level within the cart to avoid overfills or outages during truck transfers. The farmer went on to explain that this often happens, and he needed a level sensor to monitor the hopper with a display located down by the operator. Wireless Chemical Storage Inventory Monitoring

When a Midwest chemical distributor needed reliable level measurement and remote inventory monitoring, they turned to Flowline. The company distributes water treatment chemicals to industrial, municipal and power generation clients from their transload storage terminal. There they wanted to replace corroded guided wave level sensors, and install a simple monitoring system that will push inventory data to their phones and browsers. Cooling Tower Radar Level Control and Measurement

When a Texas HVAC contractor needed reliable level control of their clients cooling tower sumps, they turned to Flowline. They had experienced run dries due to float valve failures caused by scaling or corrosion. Mining Shotcrete Day Tank Level Measurement

When a Northeast mine company needed reliable level measurement of the shotcrete day tank, they turned to Flowline. Shotcrete or wet concrete that’s sprayed at high velocity on rock surfaces, provides necessary structural support to mine shafts. This mine batches, blends and dispenses 800 gallons of shotcrete into their mixer truck which transports the load to its point of use. Plastic Pellet Bag Fill Station Radar Level Measurement

When a Midwest plastic pellet distributor needed reliable level measurement of their bag fill station, they turned to Flowline. The company supplies PE pellets to injection molders in large bags that are filled to order. During which, pellets are pneumatically transferred from outside silos to the station’s intake hopper. From there, the pellets are augured to the fill hopper where they gravity feed into bags. The IC&E technician said, “We need to measure the pellet level in both hoppers and alert the operator to low or high-level conditions for shut down. Hatchery Diesel Tank Radar Level Measurement

When a Southeast chicken farm needed reliable level measurement of their diesel generator tanks, they turned to Flowline. New hatchlings require perfect temperature, water, lighting and ventilation to survive in the first ten days of their life. Hazardous Oil and Brine Tank Level Measurement

When a West Virginia oil company needed reliable level measurement of their crude and brine storage tanks, they turned to Flowline. After being pumped from the well, the oil and brine water are separated and both liquids are stored in large tanks awaiting transportation for processing or disposal. There the operator contracted with an integrator to select and install new level sensors, that when connected to their RTU’s, provided tank inventory data to the cloud for truck routing. Additionally, as most tanks were not instrumented, they wanted to eliminate the need for their employees to manually check tank levels, and thus avoid contacting hazardous H2S gas that’s flammable and toxic. When a Northwest municipality needed reliable level measurement of a problematic sewer pump lift station, they turned to Flowline.
