Hydraulic side shift or ditch-bank movement too fast on your flail mower?

We put together a guide explaining how an inline hydraulic flow restrictor can help slow down fast or jerky hydraulic movement on compatible hydraulic mower circuits.

The SlamFix 1/2" BSPP (G1/2) Inline Hydraulic Flow Restrictor is designed to install inline between the hydraulic hose end and the hydraulic quick coupler that plugs into the tractor.

The guide covers:

✅ What an inline hydraulic flow restrictor does
✅ Why some flail mower hydraulic functions move too quickly
✅ Where the restrictor installs
✅ Why thread type matters before ordering
✅ When a restrictor is the right fix — and when it is not

If your offset, side-shift, or ditch-bank mower movement feels too abrupt, this guide explains what to check before buying parts.

Read the guide here:

Step-by-step guide on how to add restrictor valves to your flail mower to improve hydraulic control. If you’ve been dealing with hard swings from your hydraulic system, this guide is for you.
