Summary: Responsible for performing skilled tasks in the service, maintenance, and repair of airplane wheels and braking systems, by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Deflate tires. *
2. Responsible for breaking torque and bead of tires. *
3. Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts. *
4. Cleans hardware and wheels in an aqueous or solvent based machine. *
5. Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast. *
6. Operates heavy-duty hydraulic jacks and other equipment to perform wheel maintenance functions. *
7. Assists other departments when necessary.
8. Performs other duties as assigned or required.

This is a drug free company and candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical and background. Random drug test is performed as well.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities:
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and individually
• Ability to work cooperatively within timelines provided and meet production requirements assigned
