If you want to take a deep dive into the engineering of the Salt Lake Temple seismic work this explains it well. From the very lowest part of the base isolators up the very highest part of the steeple including supporting the Angle Moroni statue, Ducworks’ team of fabricators, machinists, erectors, designers and project managers have been there.

Modern engineering feat ensures the Salt Lake City Temple respects its rich history while creating a stable future.

Love seeing a young man find his passion!

🔥⚙️ Congratulations to our Welding Department Platinum Performer, Gus Roden! ⚙️🔥

Gus first discovered BTECH during a high school tour and immediately knew it was a place where he could build his future. From the welcoming atmosphere to the hands-on programs, he found a path that aligned with his passion for welding and fabrication.

One thing that stood out most to Gus was the people. Whether it was fellow students, instructors, or staff, he found a community that was always willing to help and support one another. While there isn't one specific moment that tops the list, he says he'll always remember his instructors and the impact they had on his journey.

After graduation, Gus plans to continue growing his business, Rockin2R Diesel & FAB, and return home to pursue his goals as an entrepreneur. 💪

His advice to future students: "If you're looking for a place that will help get your foot in the door with big companies and help you take the next step into your future at your own pace, this is a great place to go."

At dawn on June 6, 1944, nearly 7,000 vessels carrying 160,000 Allied troops closed in on the beaches of Normandy.

Through courage and sacrifice, they secured a foothold in Nazi-occupied France and began the liberation of Western Europe.

Today, we honor the heroes of D-Day.

Congratulations to a great friend of Ducworks (and former employee) Sean Smith on graduation from the Air Force Academy just minutes ago! Now its off to get married and fighter jet training for this young man. Thanks for your service to our great country and we know with individuals like you that our future is in good hands.

Ducworks’ family night at Zootah was a big hit. We dubbed it “Where designs take flight”. We got to check out some of the enclosures we’ve donated, saw some great animals, honored one of our founders for his volunteer work, and stuffed ourselves on BBQ to kick off the summer!

Small town cemeteries across America become a place of sacred remembrance of heroes who died in defense of Freedom. Today we salute those who paid the ultimate price. We hope each of you will take a moment to remember.

It’s really easy to support the great things going on in technical education. We would be remiss to not mention that Bridgerland supports us through training with their Custom Fit program and we have many employee who have graduated from their programs. We are huge believers in what they are doing down there and strongly recommend looking into it if you aren’t already familiar with them!

Ducworks is making a real difference for students at Bridgerland Technical College!

Ducworks provides scholarships for students in Machining, Automation, and Welding. They also support equipment needs in our machining program and strengthen the BTECH Foundation’s work through leadership involvement and dedicated service on the Foundation Board. In addition, representatives from Ducworks serve on multiple industry advisory boards, helping Bridgerland Technical College identify and meet workforce needs. Their support plays a vital role in student success and in advancing Bridgerland Technical College’s mission.
