LIC began in the early 1990’s as a specialty supplier to a local general contractor. By 1997, the demand and success forged LIC to move their operations to a larger facility. We’re proud to highlight the successful completion of the Innovation Pointe Office Buildings in Lehi, Utah. This five-story, 145,000-square-foot Class A office building features floor-to-ceiling exterior glazing and an attached two-story podium parking structure.
This project stands out due to our prior experience with the first two buildings on the campus, allowing us to expedite the schedule and complete this building one to two months faster than the previous ones. This efficiency reflects the strong partnership and mutual confidence we've developed with Layton Construction over the course of these projects. We are proud of our team for their precision and craftsmanship, as well as our partners for their critical contributions. Thank you!

Contributing to the Washington County Administration Building and Parking Structure in St. George, Utah, has been a significant achievement for us. This project encompasses a five-level, 141,702-square-foot administration building and a six-level, 166,080-square-foot parking structure, providing 334 parking stalls. Our team at Lundahl Ironworks fabricated and erected 942 tons of structural steel, ensuring the integrity and durability of the complex. The administration building consolidates multiple county services under one roof, enriching the community's cultural and educational resources. This project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and dedication. We are honored to have played a role in bringing this vision to life and look forward to seeing its positive impact on the community year after year.

The Utah Tech Stadium Expansion was an amazing project we were excited to be a part of! This collaborative project introduced a new skybox structure featuring a state-of-the-art press box and event operations facilities. The expansion also offers premier seating options, including private suites, lounge seating, club seating, and a club lounge. The project includes new athletic training facilities, an updated football team locker room, a team lounge, and equipment issue spaces to further elevate the football program's status. Fans will enjoy an enhanced experience with an updated entry plaza and stadium fencing. We couldn't be more happy to have been part of this project.

We are thrilled to showcase our collaboration on the Onset Financial Building. Partnering with Okland Construction and Unlimited Steel, this project presented unique challenges, including intricate cantilevers and angular dimensions. Our team at Lundahl Ironworks was instrumental in fabricating the complex steel structures. The project's design required meticulous coordination among all parties to address the complexities of the structure. Through proactive communication and detailed planning, we effectively resolved numerous potential issues prior to the steel installation, ensuring a smooth and efficient construction phase. This project stands as a testament to the power of teamwork and effective communication. We are proud of the collective effort that brought this vision to life and look forward to future collaborations.

We are grateful to have been able to fabricate and erect the BlackRock Ice Center in Heber City, Utah! This 2,100-seat home arena with a 3-story fitness center is a collaborative effort that required 1,278 tons of steel. It required precise coordination and timely ex*****on - and thanks to the collaboration, problem-solving, and dedication of our incredible team including Unlimited Steel and Mold-Tek, it was a successful project. What a great week at Basis Independent as Evergreen Erectors hoisted all six sections completing two trusses. These trusses will enable Basis to add a gymnasium to the inside of an already existing building.

This is a complicated build and it is always a great partnership with Evergreen Erectors and Cornerstone General Contractors, Inc. The knowledge, experience and workability of this team is always great!

We have the opportunity to handle both fabrication and er****on on the new St. George City Hall Building! This 3-story structure will be just under 76,000 sqft. The complexity of the steel within the atrium, which ties the walls and atrium together, was unique and required extensive collaboration and problem-solving with the entire construction team. Despite these challenges, our team has gone above and beyond, offering creative solutions — including saving 2 weeks on the er****on schedule!
A big thanks to the entire team — including Big D, our erectors, and all the subcontractors involved — for making this project a continued success!

Each year, we have the opportunity to provide Thanksgiving dinners to the Preston Food Pantry. This year, we were able to donate 150 meals! This Holiday season, we were able to support one of our team members in the Utah State Annual Pumpkin toss. The College of Engineering hosted the toss on October 21, and one of our student employees asked us to sponsor him in the event. Lots of fun was had as we designed the trebuchet, getting the whole team involved. On that Saturday, we had a ton of fun competing and enjoying the event with the added benefit of supporting the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Our hard work was rewarded with a 1st place finish in design and a 2nd place finish overall!
