Searching for my dads 1956 Belair, the car was sold/lost while he was serving in Vietnam between 1970-74, the car was located in Preston Idaho, possibly sold to someone in the Tremonton/Northern Utah area at that time. The car was a well known street car with a dual quad 327 with dumped headers, 4 speed and a Ford 9 inch out back. It had a 1955 front end and also 55 tail lights fabricated in my dad said. It was commonly known as the Easy Rider, or Captain America. It sported trunk decals thats said BYE BYE MR FORD, with a cobra decal next to it. Rumored to have been repainted "76 station orange" but not verified.
My dad is still alive and talks of finding it after all this time have sparked a fire in his heart and i would love to reunite the 2 after 50 years. Currently gathering more info as time goes on. Thanks for your help
