It’s been a bit since anything has been shared on the business page. Finished up a short run SS of racks this weekend. Thoroughly enjoy trying to make the most efficient and accurate process possible. First round I tried some 3D printed jigs, but I wasn’t quick enough to keep the heat away from them. So I adjusted and milled this steel replacement and we were off to the races.

From a customers desire to a mostly finished product. All that’s left are a few braces and a finish coat.

This task wore on me quite a bit due to knowing how quickly something like this can turn into a potato chip. Clamped it up with some camber in it and took my time welding it out. All said and done there was minimal bowing and it installed with out much of a fight. Most importantly the customer was extremely happy with it!

The best part of self employment is being able to help other small businesses tackle their dreams. I was asked to build a splash pan manure drag line set up. Not knowing much about the process I spent a few evenings traveling to local farms picking their brains about what does and doesn’t work for them. Decided on a path forwarded that could later be expanded on as needed without having to scrap the entire project, had it not worked as desired. So far the customer is happy and I’m ecstatic. Looking forward to the next challenge!
