is a multi-disciplinary civil, structural, and environmental engineering, water resource, and land surveying firm headquartered in Littleton, New Hampshire. Since being founded in 2004, offices have been added in New London, Newmarket, and Ossipee, New Hampshire, Newport and Sharon, Vermont, and Saco, Maine. As we look ahead to our transition to Verdantas, we pause to reflect on the remarkable journey of Horizons Engineering. 👷🏻‍♂️📈

Founded in 2004 in Littleton, NH, Horizons began as a small firm with just a few passionate professionals. Today, we’re nearly 80 employees strong across nine offices in ME, NH, and VT.

For 21 years, we’ve grown in size, expertise, and heart—celebrating together, giving back through community events, and supporting one another beyond the work. This culture of camaraderie and service has been the foundation of our success.

Now, as we embrace the Verdantas name, we’re excited to carry that same spirit forward. With new connections, expanded resources, and shared values, we’re ready to continue delivering trusted civil, environmental, structural, and surveying services—while growing alongside our communities.

We’re proud of where we started, grateful for the journey, and energized for what’s ahead. Here’s to the next chapter—together as Verdantas. 🌟

We had a fantastic time attending the New England Summit for the first time ever—and we’re already looking forward to next year! 🎉⛷️

The New England Summit brought together ski areas from across the Northeast and top-tier suppliers for two days of product demos, innovative presentations, and incredible networking opportunities.

On Tuesday, June 3rd, Horizons Engineering attended Ski NH’s Annual Tradeshow at Cranmore Mountain Resort. 🏂🏻❄️

Don Bouchard, Regional Office Manager; Skylar Carr, Marketing Manager; and Bryan Walsh, Regional Office Manager, were all in attendance.

We enjoyed networking with representatives from various ski mountains and other industry professionals.
