Yes, the rumors are true. After 25 years in Litchfield Mark has retired from the installation business. The store will still be open on & off until the end of the year to sell off what products we have remaining. If you’re looking for something, call the store at 320-693-5885. WE ARE STILL OPEN!! Let me explain what's going on because there are many false rumors circulating lately. We have not retired or closed our business. We have just changed the way we do business. We still sell & install all the products we always have, we just don't have a regular retail store that is open during set hours anymore. We still have an office & an installation bay. Our phone number is still the same. It is true that Mark started working full-time for Custom Products in the end of April, so he's only doing installations in the late afternoons & on Saturday mornings now. Cindy is still manning the office, though not on a regular schedule at this time. We are in the process of remodeling what was our retail store into our home. I will share some pictures of the progress soon. Once we are living at the store, the office hours will be more regular (I will update this page with the new hours then).

Mid Minnesota Music has also not gone out of business! Our former partner in the music store, Bob from Bikes By Bob, has taken the store back & moved it to his location. You can now find Mid Minnesota Music in the same building with Bikes By Bob in Kristofor Square (the old Meeker County Co-op building, kitty-corner from Pizza Hut on Hwy 12 here in Litchfield). Mark & I are putting the finishing touches on our recently remodeled home & hope to have it up for sale in the very near future. If you know of anyone looking for a nice little 2+ bedroom/2 full bath home with a large back deck & a big "kid & dog friendly" securely fenced backyard, let me know. The house was totally gutted on the inside & remodeled with a focus on technology & inexpensive, problem-free living. The house was taken down to the studs & received new insulation & energy-efficient "tilt-in-to-clean" windows that have custom blackout shades. The electrical wiring was all re-done with whole-house surge protection, technology "raceways" to all living areas & an outside generator hook-up to run furnace/AC, etc. in a long-term power outage. The plumbing & fixtures were all re-done. New duct-work, furnace & central AC. Two new front patios stopped any water from getting into the totally remodeled basement (even when we had the quick 5.25" rain this summer!). The back deck was built to specs to be converted to indoor living space. The next step of our remodel plan was to enclose the deck, re-do the roof & do new siding on the house & our little garage. Plans changed! :-)

The time has come to close our retail store. Friday, May 20th will be the final day. We are trying our best to be at the store from 10am-1pm & 2:30pm-5:30pm, but this will vary slightly due to outside appointments. If you're planning to stop by, please call first to make sure we're here. Don't forget that we will still be doing a limited amount of retail sales & installation work after the store is closed so if you need anything please call.

Big News! - After 19 years, we are getting out of the retail business (you can thank the Internet!). We will still be doing a limited amount of sales & installation work, but will no longer have a store you can visit to see & touch the actual products.
