Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Cold Header Set-up / Operator

Operating understanding of cold heading equipment.
Detailed understanding of fastener specifications and the manufacturing process.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Read and understand fastener prints.
Ability to use dimensional test equipment properly.
Sets up, installs and calibrates various support equipment.
Computes feed length and progression, and establishes process parameters and sets monitoring equipment to insure processing parameters are maintained to produce quality parts.
Reads measuring equipment such as shadowgraph, micrometers, calipers, thread roll graphs, and related equipment, and documents on appropriate paperwork.
Performs minor tool modifications to include sharpening and adjustments to maintain integrity of parts.
Work overtime as required. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and Experience:

Minimum of two years of industry related experience.
High School, GED or better.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Work independently as well as in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision.
Provide assistance to other employees when needed.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong intuition and problem solving skills.
Strong mathematical and geometry skills.
Attention to detail.
Benefits: International Welding offers a competitive salary and benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes health insurance with available 401K with company match in addition to, paid vacation and holidays.

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Assist in all stages of fastener manufacturing. Job duties could possibly include:

- Checking fasteners as they complete certain processes.

- Assist in watching machines to ensure they are running properly.

- Assisting production team with moving product between stations.

- Washing finished goods per the procedures provided.

- Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and all work areas.

- Mopping and sweeping floors.

- Assist production team with moving fasteners from one stage to another.

- Any other tasks as assigned by management.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear or smell, up to 8 hours per day. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities by this job include close, distance and peripheral vision.
