It is with Great sadness that I announce the passing of our dear friend and colleague Jim L'Heureux. Jim passed away on September 4th after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jim spent more than 38 years with National Steel Rule; most of which was in our customer service department. His attention to detail as well as unwavering commitment to providing outstanding service to all his customers has been inspirational to all who have followed in his footsteps. His dedication to National has always been at the center of Jim's working life and was evident by his commitment to work through every day despite being in pain. He never complained of his discomfort or pain, even as he made it through his last few weeks at National. The example Jim set by his consistency, his accuracy, and (most importantly) his bravery in the face of death are what we all strive to emulate. Jim was always the calm at the center of the storm and will be greatly missed by all of us.

Jim is survived by his wife Judy of 30 years, and his two sons, Eric & Jesse. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A Memorial gatheirng will take place this evening from 7-9 pm at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 400 Faitoute Ave., Roselle Park.

I am not a cat lover, but I must admit kittens are adorable. Hope everyone is staying safe! Happy Fall

It is with great sadness that I announce another death in the National Steel Rule family. Henry “Hank” Hunter passed away last week unexpectedly. Mr. Hunter was a member of our night shift operations. He was an incredibly kind man with a quick smile and a positive attitude. He loved his family, his lord and most of all his beloved son. I am so blessed that I had an opportunity to get to know Hank over the last 3 years he spent at National. He will be missed.

For those of you who missed the post at the shop, there is a wake and service for Hank today, October 12th at the Mount Tenman Church 160 Madison Avenue In Elizabeth at 9 am.

It is with great sadness that I inform you all of the passing of Ed Mucci Sr. Ed passed away peacefully on October 2, 2019. I have known Ed my entire life. He formed a partnership with my father, Joe Bialoglow, over 50 years ago. The two of them went on an adventure of a lifetime, and their legacy lives on today in the company and the people that continue to serve it. He was my, "stern parent," and his goal was to one day make me a better employer.
He was our patriarch, mentor, and friend. An incredibly humble man, he loved all of his employees unconditionally. Please keep the Mucci family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Services are being held on Saturday, October 5th from 10 am - 2 pm at the Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, 885 Mantoloking Road, Brick NJ 08723.
