MANUFACTURING / WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
JOB DESCRIPTION

40 hour work week, Monday - Friday
INTRODUCTION
This job description outlines the duties, functions and requirements for a Manufacturing / Warehouse Associate position. The general responsibility is to assist the team in production and warehouse operation.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
1. Work with the team daily to correctly fulfill, package, record documentation, and complete shipment of orders sent via Ground transit.
2. Take inventory of finished goods and packaging supplies per the set schedule.
3. Report inventory to the Production Supervisor.
4. Assist the team in production operations, such as: preparing materials for production, product packaging and labeling, palletizing, loading, unloading.
5. Operating and maintaining facility equipment.
6. Maintain strict quality standards on all work performed.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform other duties as assigned.
2. Know and understand Thermo’s safety objectives.
3. Operate a forklift.
Cell phone use is limited in the production facility.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and written.
Physical stamina
Attention to detail
Required education: High school or equivalent
Preferred experience: Warehouse or fulfillment – 1 year
Operating a forklift
Reports to: Production Supervisor
