***This position is eligible for Quarterly Bonuses based on profit margin for each completed job.
* Work with customers to develop quality solutions to their needs
* Work with Sales Representative to build projects for customers
* Build & manage projects
- facility walk through with customer (this may involve Sales Representative providing information)
- build project plan and estimate cost
- develop prints and draft components
- manage scheduling projects
- schedule equipment for projects (aerial lifts, cranes, etc.)
- work with Millwright Foreman (Millwright Supervisors) to keep projects on schedule
- final walk through of project with Millwright Foreman/ Supervisor with customer
- review all paper work prior to submission to Office Manager for invoicing
- minimum of 15% profit margin on all projects
* Annual training to develop effective skills (communication, organization, etc..)
This position allows a lot of free range, but some of the largest responsibility in the company. One bad project can set the company back 6 months to years. It is very important to bill a minimum of 20 hours per week. These hours will be billed based on the awarded projects budgets. Projects have to maintain a 15% min. profit margin. No excuses. This should be easily done with developing effective project plans. The ideal profit margin for projects is 25% - 35%. As the Project Manager, you are the liaison between the office employees and field employees. Communication is key. This position will require annual training. To accomplish this, you will be required to perform so many training hours per year. These training hours can be from company recommended programs or programs presented by you. The General Manager will have the final choice. It is crucial to be developing new skills constantly to increase our ability to solve customers' problems.
Bonuses will be given quarterly.
