A true exercise in historic preservation. This project brings together exceptional craftsmanship—hidden gutters, mudded and sealed eaves, custom copper flashing, and rough-sawn vertical nailers—alongside the careful reuse of original GMcB Cordova tile.
Each tile was meticulously restored, removing decades of Pacific Northwest moss and grime to reveal its natural character once again.
GMcB clay tile is built for generations—its color is kiln-fired into the clay itself, and proven performance lasting 100+ years. A powerful reminder that authentic clay tile isn’t replaced—it’s preserved.
