Gary “Mr. Henry” McPherson — UPOC Senior Technical Advisor; retired Region IV NTPA & UPOC Head Tech Official; UPOC Hall of Famer; Tractor Puller; and all-around great man — gained his wings this morning.

Please keep Trudy, Susie, Victor, and the entire McPherson family in your prayers as they seek comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Mr. Henry was the epitome of tractor pulling. He lived for God, country, his family, and every aspect of truck and tractor pulling. He always wore a huge smile and was ready with a laugh. He and Trudy had a way of making me laugh so hard I cried more times than I can count.

He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

As soon as I have more information, I will let everyone know.

Lance Micek and High Hopes grabbed 1st in the 8000 Super Stock Dual Fuel this evening. The Watertown, NY, native went 228.16 for the win.

Congratulations Lance! He’ll be joined in the finals on Saturday night by Mark Bradish and Henry Everman with two tractors.
