We have been incredibly busy over the past few months and we are happy to announce that our little start-up is growing! We get a ton of questions from friends and family about what we do. Answering with "we are a Reality Capture company," is usually met with the "puppy head tilt" response. With our answer clearly needing more explanation, we decided to create an informational presentation we could share with our friends, family, and prospective clients. We most certainly welcome any sort of feedback on this presentation from our friends and colleagues in the RC space. Enjoy!

RECAPT3D uses LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) to capture data of existing buildings and structures for the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction industry. We are replacing the old school, very inaccurate method of tape measures and hand drawn sketches with highly accurate LiDAR scans.

This method of data collection saves our clients all the headaches that come with missed measurements, inaccurate measurements, poorly drawn sketches, and the inevitable return trips to the site to fix mistakes. Our scanners capture 600,000 data points per second with accuracies that are well above industry standards.
