Olathe Fire Station 9 is taking shape! 🚒

Our team recently toured the project site to see the progress firsthand and experience how the vision is coming together as construction nears completion.

We were also excited to have K-State Architectural Engineering & Construction Science students join us for the visit. Opportunities like these provide valuable insight into the design and construction process while helping bridge the gap between the classroom and the jobsite.

Looking forward to seeing this facility completed and ready to support the City of Olathe Fire Department as they continue serving the Olathe community.

Summer kickoff at the Johnson County Health Services Building project! Thanks to McCownGordon Construction for hosting a project team lunch at the job site to celebrate the incredible collaboration, hard work, and progress made so far on the Johnson County Health Services Building project.

It was great to connect with the many partners helping bring this impactful facility to life for the community and to see the exciting progress taking shape.

We even had a special guest join the visit, one of our future engineers enjoying a behind-the-scenes look at the project.

Great progress is taking shape at Johnson County Health Services!

Our team enjoyed getting out to the site to see the project under construction and experience the momentum firsthand. We were also excited to have several Architectural Engineering students from K-State Architectural Engineering & Construction Science join us for the tour, creating a great opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world construction.

We were excited to host Architectural Engineering students from the University of Kansas School of Engineering last week through the Jayhawks on the Job program!

The students had the opportunity to shadow our team, learn more about structural engineering, and gain exposure to project design processes. The afternoon wrapped up with a construction site visit to the Johnson County Health Services project, joined by our project partners from Finkle + Williams Architecture.

We’re always glad to support opportunities that provide hands-on learning and help shape the next generation of engineers.
