Today, SOR says goodbye to Eric Klimt after 45 years of service. 🎉

Eric joined SOR as a summer intern before his career here even officially began. He came back after school as our first Manufacturing Engineer, the first person to hold a role that would become one of the most important functions in our company. He spent decades shaping how SOR builds instruments, and he did it with the kind of consistency and care that shows in every product that has left our floor since 1981.

He went on to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team as Manager, and the standard he set there still holds.

Every instrument SOR has shipped over the last 45 years carries some part of Eric's work in it. That is a legacy worth recognizing.

Eric, thank you. We wish you nothing but the best in what comes next. 👏

That kind of longevity doesn't happen by accident. It starts with a philosophy our founder Roy Dunlap put in place in 1946: the three-legged stool.
