This 2012 Kia Forte overheated. The owner suspected the headgasket may have been compromised as it was misfiring badly and had a small amount of coolant in the oil. Cooling system was tested and confirmed the head gasket was bad. She's purring like a kitten now.

A reminder to service your differentials. Depending on the vehicle, if it hasn't been done in the last 80k miles, get it done. This 2018 Nissan Rogue AWD had only 101k miles and the diff completely failed. A new diff, two cv axles, and driveshaft later and she's back on the road.

I see this stuff almost daily. Customer used an independent shop for an oil change. Left spending almost $1400 after an O2 sensor replacement, oil change, and wiper replacement. The O2 sensor was likely needed to pass emissions, but 250% markup on the part is insane.

My client purchased this Mazda 3 at auction, but the vehicle arrived with more damage then he thought. The forklift operator dragged the front end during transport, puncturing the transmission pan and causing the transmission to lock out all gears. We installed a new pan, filter, and fresh fluid — she’s back on the road now.
