Last week we celebrated the year anniversary of the passing of a dear friend and committed, loyal, employee of Gerrity Industries.
46 years he committed his time here.
In Gerrity style, we had a BBQ - Lots of laughs and fun was had.
Even without personally knowing this man, you sure learn a lot about someone when others keep their legacy alive.

Gerrity Industries is looking to fill various positions on site. We offer competitive wages (dependent on experience and position), IRA with company match, vacation / Personal time, health insurance, and more!! Remanufacturing Operator – Duties entail operating sawmill equipment to cut lumber to specific lengths
• Follow the company’s safety policies, which includes, wearing PPE
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must have good hand eye coordination

• Able to work at a consistent pace
Hand Nailer – Duties entail assembling pallets using a pneumatic nail gun

Maintenance / Millwright – The job will entail repairing sawmill equipment, and tracking/scheduling preventative maintenance. The ideal candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery. To complete these tasks, knowledge in PLC’s, 3-phase electrical power and hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Basic welding ability
• Detect problems and perform emergency repairs during production time
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Diagnose problems, solve, and test result
• Comply of safety regulations
• Perform general building repairs
• Knowledge in Forklift repairs
• Drive loader as required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds intermittently
