There’s no denying that pinkeye in cattle continues to be a frustrating disease. With a simple three-pronged approach, you can help mitigate pinkeye and its damaging effects:

1. Control face flies as best as you can 🪰
2. Keep pastures mowed, dust controlled, and direct sunlight limited to minimize eye irritants 🌾

🧠 EPM: A silent threat to your horse’s nervous system

Equine Protozoal Myeloencephalitis (EPM) is caused by a parasite spread through opossum f***s. Once ingested, it can damage the brain and spinal cord. Signs range from weakness and abnormal gait to facial paralysis and seizures.

Protazil® (1.56% diclazuril) Antiprotozoal Pellets are an alfalfa-based top-dress pellet that helps treat and manage EPM, making it easier to support your horse’s recovery while continuing to feed as usual.

Important Safety Information: PROTAZIL® is contraindicated in horses with known hypersensitivity to diclazuril. The safety of Protazil in horses used for breeding purposes, during pregnancy, or in lactating mares, and use with concomitant therapies in horses has not been evaluated.
