From early concepts to nearly complete construction, it’s always rewarding to see design take physical form. The Locke Landing Clubhouse in Baltimore, MD is coming together beautifully as part of the Locke Insulator community.

The Locke Insulator community, developed by 28 Walker Development in partnership with Greystar Apartments, DRB Homes, and K. Hovnanian Homes, are providing approximately 800 new housing units within the city of Baltimore.

🏘️ Townhomes & “2-over-2” units: ~389 total for-sale units
• 297 traditional townhomes
• 92 stacked “2-over-2” townhouse/condo units
🏢 Apartments: 420 rental units in two Greystar-built buildings.

🏗️ The 3,500 SF clubhouse, designed by The Martin Architectural Group will serve as the H.O.A. hub and amenity space for residents and both home builders—bringing community, functionality, and thoughtful design under one roof, and anchoring the neighborhood. Our team blended elements of the urban residential design styles for this modern spin on a traditional building function.

Raw "bubble diagrams" started back in 2017, based on a desire from Fusco Management Company to put their Newark, DE retail property "College Square" back into play as a mixed use center.

Fast forward through the pandemic, shifts in the market, and construction industry chaos, and the vision to transform the retail center to "The Grove at Newark" mixed use center has become a reality!

With the central plaza the key component of the design, to compel outdoor dining and small footprint retail at the heart, with pedestrian heavy and traffic secondary uses, and nearly 1000 trees planted-the last components are in play.

The 306 apartments of The Compass at the Grove, and new restaurants signed into the leases at the central plaza, along with dedicated community green, dog park, a grocer and other retail onsite, The Grove at Newark is mere months from completing the journey!

It’s ! 💎

The next phase of the Dayton Arcade redevelopment includes a 94-room Hilton Garden Inn managed by our partners at Century Hotel Group. Located in the Arcade’s Third Street and Gibbons Buildings, the hotel will include a first-floor lobby entrance from Third Street, a fitness center for hotel guests, and a variety of other amenities.

The second-floor hotel guest lounge boasts great views of the Third Street Arcade atrium and a direct connection to the Hub Powered by PNC.
