“My photography journey began four years ago, two-thirds of the way through freshman year of high school. Due to illness, I was stuck at home, and my father gave me one of his old professional cameras to use. I brought it everywhere with me. I eventually became my school’s yearbook editor, my advisor using some of my photos as examples in her photography classes. Currently, I am working on emulating the look of Kodak Aerochrome and TriX400. My inspirations have come from my father’s influence, the weightless feeling of a camera in my hands, and knowing my photos preserve memories and documentation of the world around me and my life.”
