Jireh Supplies Inc is an Atlanta based Audio Visual Company celebrating 25 years this year and we are busier than ever. We are looking for a Lead Installation Technician who will work in collaboration with the Project Manager, Design Engineer and Sales team to achieve successful installation, test and closeout of each assigned project for the Advanced Visual Environment Technical Operations team. Applicant must have some IT/Computer network experience.
The responsibilities of the Lead Installation Technician include the following:
Lead a crew in AV installation, perform hands-on installation as part of the team
Rack construction, pulling cable, and preparing equipment for installation
On Site problem solving
Testing all equipment when job is complete.
Make sure all projects are completed in a timely manner
Maintain an on-going dialog with Project Manager, ensuring that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations
Maintain a company supplied service vehicle
Handles other duties relative to the job as assigned by management
Follows and maintains proper safety practices
Requirements: * High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience installing audio-visual, corporate video, control systems, low voltage, voice/data cabling, structured cabling, or related systems required
CTS certification preferred, or attain within one year of employment
Proven track record leading crews and completing projects
Experience using hand tools. This includes but not limited to, wire st*****rs and crimpers for varying types of wire and cable, soldering tools/techniques, construction equipment such as scaffolding, hoists, pulleys, (concrete, brick & block) attachment devices, unistrut steel support, etc.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
The position of Installation requires the following attributes: technical capability, professionalism, self-motivation, self-discipline, focus and attention to detail and punctuality.
Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
Must be able to work in high places and in small cramped places
Must be able to work in hot humid places as well as cold places
Must be able to maintain a safety-minded approach to all activities
