Congrats to Priority Steel’s two newest journeymen, Joe Monahan and Bre Barker! They have completed their apprenticeship and today they are officially Local 44 journeymen ironworkers. We are so proud of them and happy to have them as part of our company. 🎉

We had a great day at the Local 44 apprenticeship competition today with a few of our apprentices: Summer, Bre, Joe, and Josh. They all did great, and a special shoutout to Summer and Bre placing 3rd and 4th overall respectively, and Summer won the welding competition for the second year in a row! Summer will compete in the district competition, and Bre is the first alternate to go to district. We are so proud of all of them for representing Priority Steel!

Did you know Priority Steel doesn’t only do on site er****on and installation? We also have a full union fabrication shop, where our employees fabricate the steel for our projects before it’s sent to job sites for installation. Our administrative assistant (and resident photographer) took some pictures of our fab shop team in action this week as they were fabricating for P&G, Walmart, and Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Our fab shop team shows up every day, working hard and prioritizing safety, quality, and precision to make sure our steel is ready to be sent out to sites. A little bit of a different post from our site projects... Recently, our CNC operator Mike was contacted by someone who quickly needed a grave marker made for a member of our community that recently passed away. Mike drew up this design for him and sent it to Caleb and Paul at T&C Coatings, who cut and powder coated it at no cost. We wanted to give a big thank you to everyone involved for going above and beyond to help a friend and member of our community lay his father to rest. 🙏
