We have openings for someone to join our grounds/lawncare crew. The main objective of this position will be to assist in the duties of lawn care maintenance.

Responsibilities
With proper care and diligence your duties will include:
• Lawn Care: mowing, trimming
• Mulching: mulching and weeding as required
• Trimming: Shrub and hedge trimming and ongoing care
• Operating Equipment - safely operating mowers, trimmers, edger’s, blowers as well as operating a vehicle with a trailer

About You
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean record
• Friendly, approachable, professional, and keep your appearance tidy
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, and able to follow and adhere to safety protocols
• Can lift 50+lbs
• Have a strong work ethic and able to perform your duties with limited supervision
• Take initiative and pride in a job well done
• Experience & Able to operate a variety of landscaping equipment
• Comfortable working outdoors

Requirements:
1. Two or more years experience in maintenance industry at a residential property, multi-building experience or similar capacity at another industry.
2. A High School Diploma or equivalent.
3. Basic repair and installation tasks from hanging pictures to everything else.
4. Doors & Windows -- installation and repairs.
5. Carpentry--crown molding, chair rails, wainscoting, base molding, stairs, railings, shelving, trim.
6. Electrical--fixtures, ceiling fans, GFCIs, outlets, switches, exterior lights, dimmers, service upgrades, breaker panel replacement and troubleshooting.
7. Plumbing--faucets, sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, garbage disposals, shut off valves, ice makers, supply lines, drains, leaks, troubleshooting.
8. Lighting and Lighting Systems--installation and trouble-shooting.
9. Drywall--repair and installation.
10. Painting/Staining--interior and exterior.
11. Flooring, Tiling and Counter-tops--all rooms, from hardwood and vinyl to ceramic.
12. Exterior Projects--fencing, gutters, siding, fences, decks, ramps, power washing.
13. HVAC Certification is typically required.
14. Valid driver's license.
15. Flexible, able to follow, but also to change course when issues arise.
16. Available to work overtime as needed.
17. Willingness to help provide off-hour on call coverage.
18. You must be proud of environment you control.
19. Candidates must be detail oriented and hard working and have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external contacts.
20. Ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills.
21. A positive attitude with a smile is a must duet to the fact that this role is a front line position to residents, other personnel or customers.
22. Ability to pass a criminal and/or credit background check.
