🏗️ INNOVA is proud to have provided er****on engineering services for the successful installation of the MD Anderson South Campus Pedestrian Bridge in Houston, Texas, completed within a single day to minimize roadway disruption.

This complex operation required detailed planning, advanced structural analysis, and real-time field support. Three bridge segments were assembled onsite and lifted into place using three cranes operating simultaneously, demanding precise coordination, timing, and ex*****on.

Our team developed the er****on plan, designed the lifting and rigging systems, analyzed temporary loading conditions, and provided on-site support throughout the installation process to help ensure a safe and successful outcome.

Projects like this demonstrate the importance of engineering beyond the final design, ensuring structures perform safely and successfully throughout every phase of construction.

Congratulations to the Nevada Architecture Foundation and Las Vegas on their beautiful new home at the historic Morelli House!

Gonorazky and M. Lea were proud to attend the Morelli House Warming Party, a wonderful celebration recognizing the Nevada Architecture Foundation and the exciting future of this iconic mid-century modern property as the new home and office of AIA Las Vegas.

It was a great evening connecting with colleagues across the AEC industry, learning more about the rich history of the Morelli House through the informative tours provided by League of Las Vegas and celebrating the continued preservation of such an important landmark.

The Morelli House has an incredible story, and we look forward to seeing its ongoing restoration and preservation for future generations to enjoy.

We thank the Colegio de Ingenieros Civiles de México and its Transportation Infrastructure Committee for the opportunity to discuss the future of monorail systems in Mexico based on studies conducted for the International Monorail Association (IMA).

During the session, Innova’s Carlos Banchik (IMA Past President) and Luis Placeres shared global perspectives on modern monorail systems and the growing role of automated elevated transit.

Key themes included space constraints in cities, adaptability to complex terrain, and increasing global adoption. We also highlighted Monterrey’s Lines 4 and 6 and a study identifying 12 additional cities in Mexico with strong potential for monorail systems.

Special thanks to Metrorrey and Miguel Angel Guerrero Colorado for contributing valuable firsthand insights.

We’re proud to have supported a fire suppression infrastructure project in San Luis Obispo in collaboration with Water Systems Inc. through an efficient and cost-effective structural foundation design solution.

Our scope included the design of the foundation system and anchorage for a 21-ft diameter by 16-ft tall fire suppression water tank. While the tank itself was designed by a separate engineer, our team performed a detailed review of the tank loading and support requirements to optimize the foundation approach.

After evaluation, we determined that a ring foundation system could safely support the tank in place of a traditional mat slab foundation. This solution significantly reduced material usage and construction costs while maintaining structural performance and reliability.

At our core, we strive to deliver practical engineering solutions that balance safety, efficiency, and value for our clients.
