📚 New clinical evidence in pterygoid implant placement.

A recently published clinical study in Medicina evaluated dynamically navigated pterygoid implant placement using dynamic computer-assisted implant surgery (dCAIS) and PteryFit™ implants by NORIS Medical.

🦷 40 patients | 40 PteryFit™ implants
📐 Mean angular deviation:
0.72° ± 0.38° — fully edentulous maxillae
0.82° ± 0.43° — partially edentulous maxillae
No statistically significant difference in angular deviation was detected between the two groups (p = 0.560).

🔬 The study reported a mean angular deviation below 1° in both groups, adding further clinical evidence for digitally guided approaches to pterygoid implant placement.
