TJK enjoyed a great day out at the AIA Idaho - The American Institute of Architects Idaho Golf Tournament.

We were proud to be the Title Sponsor this year and spend the day connecting with the architecture, engineering, and construction community. Our Spin to Win prizes were once again a fun draw to our table and the raffle prizes of a pair of Ray-Bans and a Howler Brothers shirt were a big hit.

The best part of this industry is the people. We always appreciate the conversations, connections, and time spent with clients, partners, and friends throughout the day.

This year marked our third year supporting the ACE Mentor Program in Idaho and our first year helping grow the program in Nampa. The students gave their final presentations, and the level of preparation and confidence they showed was truly impressive. It was clear how much work they put in and how far they had come over the course of the program.

As members of the Community Service Committee for NAIOP Southern Nevada, we recently supported Helping Hands of Vegas Valley through a toilet paper drive, with TJK donating 495 rolls.

We also spent time at Gilcrease Orchard harvesting fresh produce that will go directly to local seniors in our community.

We appreciate the opportunity to take part in efforts like this to support our community.

Another AIA Golf Tournament.

We were proud to sponsor the Hole-in-One hole again this year, and our Spin to Win prizes were a big hit. From neck gaiters and lip balms to coffee gift cards, Red Vines, and divot tools—there was something for everyone. Our raffle prizes, a pair of classic Ray-Bans and a luxury A’s sweatshirt, definitely stole the show.

It’s always fun to give away prizes, but what makes the day worth it is the time we get to spend with our clients and the architecture, engineering, and construction community.

We’re grateful to be part of it and already looking forward to next year.

For 40 years, TJK has had the privilege of helping design the communities where people live, work, and gather. Reaching this milestone is a PROUD moment for our entire team.

It represents decades of hard work, a commitment to quality, a dedication to always improving, and the relationships we’ve built with our clients and partners along the way.

We are deeply grateful to our clients and to the Nevada and Idaho communities for trusting us with your projects and allowing us to be part of the places that shape everyday life.

Forty years inspires us to work even harder. We’ll be celebrating throughout the year, with some exciting things planned this summer and fall that we can’t wait to share.

Investing in the next generation of engineers is a crucial part of TJK's success. As we continue to celebrate EWeek, and its mission to unite engineers, students, and the community, we recognize all of the hard working interns and technical staff at TJK who continue to pursue their engineering degrees.

We also thank Tom Anderson, PE, our President and Principal Engineer who serves as the Vice President of the Alumni Chapter Board for the UNLV College of Engineering. Tom volunteers to help inspire and build paths for the next generation of engineers.
