Congratulations to Reggie Washington, Configuration Management (CM) Analyst, for receiving the Arcata J-Tech Annex 2 Employee of the Program Award!

From helping stand up the CM program at another contract location through hands-on training and policy development to maintaining the Nevada Test & Training Range (NTTR) CM program during a period of reduced staffing, Reggie has consistently gone above and beyond to keep critical work moving forward.

He has also played a key role in ensuring contract compliance, keeping configuration data current, managing a high volume of drawing updates, and partnering with developers to improve and automate CM workflows. His commitment to training others and strengthening processes continues to make a lasting impact across the team. In his nomination, his supervisor, Neal, said, “Reggie continues to demonstrate his ongoing commitment to the success of the Configuration Management group and the contract and is deserving of this award.”

Shana, an Arcata Software Engineer, presented the prestigious "Commercial Potential" award to a deserving team of UNLV engineering students. Shana is also an officer of the IEEE Young Professionals of Las Vegas organization.

Arcata's Range Support Services II (RSSII) Employee of the Program, Hayley Hollingsworth, Workload Control Supervisor!

Having spent over 20 years in the RSS program, Hayley hit the ground running as a supervisor, proposing changes to reports, creating a new customer service position, revising the department schedule, and establishing new vehicle checks that have significantly improved work order turnaround time. Her manager noted that the changes Hayley made have "played a significant part in the department exceeding all Performance Work Statement (PWS) vehicle maintenance metrics."

She brings tremendous enthusiasm to her position and has been recognized by the Air Force and associate contractors for instilling a strong culture of customer service and responsiveness.

Arcata's Corporate Office Employee of the Year - Silvia Montilla, Controller!

As the Corporate Controller, Silvia does a phenomenal job providing customer support to our customers, prime contractors, and internal Arcata departments. She played an instrumental role in the launch of a new contract in Alaska, ensuring that the payroll and accounting systems were properly established.

Arcata's Director of Finance, Bob Duncan, relies on her to submit monthly invoices and detailed financial reports, and to identify and resolve complex financial issues. In her nomination, Bob wrote, "Silvia always has a cheerful outlook that leads to a comfortable work environment that encourages teamwork."

Silvia received a "Thank You" from the RSSII Logistics Manager, which states, "I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional work, dedication, and support that you have consistently provided to each and every employee."

We want to thank Silvia for being a valued member of the Arcata Team.

As the world watched the first crewed Artemis mission lift off, conduct science operations, and safely return home, there was pride and joy at Arcata Associates, Inc., a Lockheed Martin subcontractor for 13 years, involved in the design, development, test, and evaluation of the Orion spacecraft.

Congratulations to NASA and the Artemis II Team for breaking Apollo 13's record for the most distant human spaceflight! We can't wait to watch Artemis III land astronauts on the Moon's south pole.
