The Wonderful World of Air Filters🙌🏾💨
Spring has sprung and while the season is changing, when is the last time you changed your air filter? Throughout the year the air filters collect all of the debris, pollen, dust particles, dirt, etc that affect the cooling and heating vents. Air filters should be checked approximately every 30 days or a month. When the air filter appears dirty, it is time to switch it out for a new one.
•
There are various things in the home that can trap debris and things much faster than normal, for instance, constantly running your AC fan, having pets, leaky air ducts, or even the filter itself. Filters come in all types of shapes and textures from the old ones to the new and updated ones. Whether you have the older pleaded ones or the innovative washables as an alternative to ones that need replacing.
•
Although they are more expensive, they just need to be taken down and hosed down every 30 days rather than changing out the whole thing.
So it is imperative to constantly check and/or change them to maintain and reach the best air quality inside your home.
-Making your home energy efficient one day at a time!
