Experienced Sign Installer / Installation Tech II
$25–$30/hr + OT (4-day week)
Westlund Concepts (Lapel, IN) is hiring an experienced Sign Installer / Installation Technician II. This is hands-on field work installing commercial signage (channel letters, monuments, etc.). If you can run installs, troubleshoot on-site, and work safely at heights, we’d like to talk.
• Pay: $25–$30/hour (based on experience) + overtime
• Schedule: Full-time, 4-day work week (Mon–Thurs)
• Benefits: Benefits package after 90 days
• Work: Commercial sign installs + service/repairs (outdoors, year-round)
What you’ll do
• Install commercial signage (channel letters, monuments, building-mounted signs, etc.)
• Prep sites, remove/replace existing signs, and ensure correct placement/measurements
• Handle basic electrical work (LEDs, wiring, troubleshooting); follow NEC/safety standards
• Operate tools, lifts/bucket trucks, and company vehicles safely
• Load/secure materials, maintain a clean job site, and complete required documentation
• Communicate with Project Managers and upload completion photos
Requirements (please read)
• Prior sign installation or commercial installation experience required
• Valid driver’s license + clean driving record; able to obtain/maintain DOT physical
• Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, bucket trucks) and outdoors year-round
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and safely handle tools/materials
• Electrical basics required (wiring/LEDs/troubleshooting); safety-first mindset
Preferred (not required)
• CDL Class B
• OSHA 10/30
• Welding certifications
• Heavy equipment experience
• Travel availability
