Dispatcher Needed (Full Time)

Qualifications:
o Manage door/window installation schedules to completion.
o Scheduling experience required.

Duties:
o Input customers data into company systems.
o Request PO’s
o Arrange shipping of windows/doors while working with our shipping dept.
o Work with subcontractors to make sure work is completed timely.
o Perform other duties as needed which will include cross training.

Exterior Door Unit Builder/Door Carpenter

Builders Supply is a growing, 115+ year old family-owned company based in Lancaster SC. We're now ranked among the 100 largest building material dealers in the country.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Assembling doors units by preparing door slabs and components, inserting glass frames in the doors, and assembling the doors into units. Doors can weigh up to 100 lbs. or more.

Qualifications and Skills:
Applicants should be experienced in operating tools/machinery such as electric saws and drills as well as reading a tape measure. Strong attention to detail is required to build units to quality standards and specifications. A background in construction/carpentry is a plus.

Benefits

Builders Supply Company is hiring CDL truck drivers - Class A license. Applicants must be able to efficiently operate manual transmissions. Company deliveries are confined mostly to a 70 mile radius of Lancaster, so no OTR driving is required. Work begins at 6:15A and typically ends by mid-afternoon. We ship building material to home sites mainly in the Charlotte market. Company operates semis, 10 wheel flatbed trucks with forklifts attached and vans. Family owned business with good working conditions. Operated from same location for 115+ years.

$750 hiring bonus after first 90 days successfully completed. $2,000 safety bonus paid in December of each year for drivers that qualify (most do).

Pay is based on an hourly rate, incentive pay and a safety bonus. Starting hourly pay is $19.00 per hour plus incentive paid per load. Drivers should make at least $3.00 per hour in incentive pay. Safety bonus, if fully earned, adds about $1.00 more per hour to pay.
