R.L. Caudill Construction, Inc. is making great progress on the new Bath County Little League Park. Over the next few weeks foundations for dugouts and backstops will be poured, walls for the concession stand will begin to be erected and the parking lot will continue to take shape.

Exciting opportunity in Bath County, Kentucky!

The Bath County Fiscal Court is seeking bids from qualified contractors for a project that will impact the youth of Bath County for many years to come.

The scope of the project consists of constructing 3 new Little League baseball fields, a concession stand (with restrooms), parking lot, and other associated improvements.

Bids are due to the Bath County Fiscal Court by 4:00p.m. on Monday, January 6th, 2025.

Next Friday, May 3rd, is the last day for seniors at Bath County and Garrard County to apply for our scholarship. We will be awarding a $1,000 scholarship to 1 senior from Bath County and 1 senior from Garrard County. Priority is given to individuals planning to study civil engineering or land surveying, however, we encourage any interested student to apply.

The University of Kentucky will be hosting Summer Engineering Exploration Kamp (SEEK) for rising seniors (Class of 2025) interested in Civil Engineering this summer. Optic will cover the program fee for the first 5 students from any Kentucky High School accepted to the program and complete the google form linked here: https://forms.gle/hXPWvMco8Yh3gYgo7

Merry Christmas from the Optic family!

We want to thank everyone who has supported us throughout our first 2 full months of operation by offering words of encouragement, recommendations, and project opportunities.

In our first 2 months, we have surveyed nearly 450 acres of land for 17 clients. We have completed projects in Bath, Boyle, Fleming, Garrard, Grayson, Lincoln, Madison, Magoffin, Mercer, Montgomery, Pulaski, Rockcastle, and Scott Counties.

Additionally, we have completed parking lot layout and grading designs and are wrapping up an 11 lot subdivision design in Leitchfield, Kentucky.

As temperatures and leaves begin to fall, remember that the most efficient time of year to have larger properties surveyed is in the fall and winter months after the foliage has died. If you would like to request a quote and be added to our schedule, please give us a call or send us a message.
