A quick (no pun intended) video of doing a collar weld on the end of a basket twist.
I originally wanted to make a pyramid or diamond shape but that did not pan out. so I did some design at the anvil and forged it into a ball! and the same technique can be used in making coat hooks, fireplace tools, anywhere you'd like ball end.
