Viking was founded in 2011 by owners with more than 50 years of hands-on experience in the racing and performance aftermarket. Viking saw an opportunity, as there was a huge shortfall in the number of double adjustable shock absorbers being used in the marke

tplace. Many consumers were settling for non-adjustable or single adjustable shocks, primarily due to cost considerations, when they would achieve exponentially better performance with double adjustable shocks. The majority of the market was lacking the ability to optimize the shock settings on their vehicles since they didn’t have access to adjust both compression and rebound independently; therefore, they were stuck with an overall ride quality and performance that was far from great. To optimize performance and ride quality, the compression and rebound valving must be independently tuned – hence the name “double adjustable”. Viking’s mission was to make double adjustable shock absorbers attainable for all. By only focusing on double adjustable shock absorbers, Viking is able to keep prices down at or near the competitions’ single adjustable shocks, thereby providing the customer with an exponentially better shock for the same dollars out of pocket. Viking conducts all research and development, CAD drawings, engineering, prototyping, shock assembly, dynomometer testing, pull testing, and select manufacturing in-house in our 25,000 sq. Viking's in-house engineering and product development team allows us to react quickly to changing market conditions, and our team members are all active enthusiasts and/or racers. Now someone did yank the internal spacers out of them (we don't advise this) but it goes to show how top notch Joey's tuning expertise is since he never bent these struts, modified for long travel, with all of the different types of racing he was able to throw at those AK valved struts.

We do stock 9" long travel struts on the shelf along with 16" springs for all of you no prep racers.

We are excited to see how far Joey can push Be**er Bomb now with all the new updates!

With Gridlife announcing the 2026 schedule, it is a great time to reflect on 2025. Congrats to Hans Horpedahl for winning the GLGT season champion. Hans pulled off the victory at Pitt Race following his excellent finish at the Laguna Seca. Honorable mention for our own Collin King, as he had a very competitive rookie season in GLGT posting multiple race wins. Also, congrats to Luke McGrew for his season championship in the Street GT Class. Another honorable mention for Ryan Mathews of for his strong finish in the Street GT Class, including the event win at Pitt Race. Ryan actually set a track record at Pitt Race with a 1:48.02, but it did not last long as Luke quickly followed it up with a 1:47.9 for the new track record. All of the C5 and C6 Corvettes are After Dark Speed equipped and have run the patented Viking Crusader pro-touring coil-over shocks. Congrats on a great 2025 and we are looking forward to 2026!

Congratulations to Mike Finnegan for his win in the A/Gas class at the Edlebrock Sick Smokies drag and drive event hosted by Sick the Mag.

Blasphemi ran very strong this past week with a 5.512 average and a new PB of 5.418! Mike uses our Crusader series shocks to maintain a consistent time at all the various tracks these drag and drive events throws at him as well as keeping the car planted through all of the corners on the Tail of the Dragon route they drove.
