Company History
Clark Steel Fabricators, Inc. was established as a family business in 1977 by Melvin Clark. The Company is now run by Mel's children, who have been active in the business since its' inception in 1977. Kimberley is President and Chief Financial Officer and Kevin is Vice President and Chief Estimator.
The Company operates from its’ 10,000 square foot commercial building located in the San Diego County community of Lakeside. The facility also includes a 40,000 square foot fenced-in yard with a 3,600 square foot covered work area and overhead crane. The facility enhances our fabrication ability with an extremely efficient work area.
Clark Steel has been the successful sub-contractor on some of the major construction projects in San Diego County such as Palomar Medical Center West, Jacobs Hospital, The San Diego Airport Rental Car Center and the Scripps Cardiovascular Institute as well as the San Diego Zoo Treetop Pedestrian Bridge, the Stadium Trolley Station, the San Diego State University Trolley Station and the College Avenue Pedestrian Bridge.
