Crude Oil (WTI)… from $84.50 to $88.50 in 24 hours of overnight trading. A long position of one contract would net a $4,000 profit… or if you are more conservative like me, a $3,000 profit. I wait for the turn to add some certainty to the trend and I set a target goal and a stop loss so I seldom reap the maximum profit from the movement. If I’m monitoring the trend, I move my profit target and my stop loss to maximize profit and minimize whiplash losses. All part of trading strategy. It depends on your risk tolerance. Some traders have nerves of steel… I don’t.

Perhaps the most unique and beautiful floor we’ve ever installed is seen at Spirit Art Gallery in Plant City...nearly 3000 sq. ft of 1x12 varigated spruce and pine planks, with each board individually hand stained and rubbed, using 8 different color stains...red oak,red mahogany, dark walnut, whitewash, weathered oak, classic gray, carbon gray and provincial...all hand rubbed. Drilled and set with tapcon fasteners over the existing concrete floor, chamfered for pegs, to be finished with oil base Polyurethane for durability. Truly one of a kind as the artist owner requested... to compliment the one of a kind art to be displayed thereon. Did I say, I love my work.... :-)

Old lumber is nominal 3 5/8", even 3 3/4" depending on the age/era (not 3 1/2") and hard as steel...often requires predrilling to accept a nail or screw....such is historic restoration work routinely encounterd by our Craftsmen at Lyon Engineering and Construction.... :-)
