I took a couple of weeks reading a chapter of Ed Pink's autobiography almost every evening. I expected the wonderful stories, awesome history, and a better understanding of how Ed Pink grew into his role as "The Old Master". The book delivers on each account. What surprised me was the inspiration I found throughout the book. Every time that Ed Pink faced "a challenge" in his path, he found "an opportunity" to build on his skills and lead his business down a new trail! I could not recommend this book any more highly to someone facing challenges in the motorsports world. What we are doing today might not be what we should be doing tomorrow. Ed's thoughtful and honest approach to every challenge, with zero looking back, is extremely inspiring.
When I decided to make a huge change, my first call was to Ed Pink. I did not understand why I wanted to call him first at that time. I guess I assumed he had seen so much and valued his perspective. After reading his book I understand. Like that Farmer's commercial, Ed knows a thing or two because he has seen so much of the course of our industry!

If there was a Mt Rushmore for the "fathers" of valvetrain, there is zero doubt that Ed Iskenderian would be featured! We are forever grateful for his contributions to motorsports.
