That’s why we are launching Tip Tuesday, a new monthly series designed to share quick, practical insights you can actually use.

JUNE TIP: Running long motor leads without adjusting carrier frequency or adding output filtering can cause voltage spikes that damage motor insulation over time. Long motor lead applications can create hidden stress on motors over time, but the right drive setup makes a major difference. Properly configured VFD parameters, output filtering, and selecting the correct inverter-duty components and cabling can help reduce voltage spikes and extend motor life. Our team works with customers to identify the right combination of products and application support to improve long-term reliability.
