Today is the 78th anniversary of D-Day. The landings in 1944 were the biggest invasion by sea in history. The landings took place on June 6th after five years of war with Germany.

Back in 2013, Measutronics was apart of an expedition to create the largest and most accurate continuous archeological map offshore of the five World War II D-Day invasion beaches. Using technology like sonar, we were able to map the ocean floor, showing that history must not be forgotten.

Lest we forget : D-Day June 6, 1944...

And Measutronics is still growing...!!! Kyle Herrera has joined our team as a Geomatics Technician. Experienced in marine construction projects, Kyle has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University and recently received his M.S. in Civil Engineering (concentration in Coastal Engineering) from Oregon State University. When away from work, and more recently his studies, Kyle enjoys exploring nature and fishing with his dog, Flint.

Measutronics is growing!!!

We welcomed Shannon Howle to the Measutronics Corporation family recently. Shannon will be working with Rosemary as part of our administration team. She is an 11 year U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a 2015 graduate of Florida Southern College. During off time, she is usually trying to keep up with her young daughter or training for a local 5K race.
