Morgan Bronze Products is looking for a Customer Service Account Representative to manage key customer accounts. This person functions as a liaison between the customers, sales and production staff. Accurately and proactively managing planned inventories, on time deliver performance, outside operations and over account/customer satisfaction. This position will work with production, purchasing, planning and sales to ensure clear and accurate information is communicated to the customer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Become familiar with all aspects of current business software
Maintain full awareness of MBP Balanced Score Card and KPI’s
Report deviations from contract obligations to Manager and/or Sales Manager
Responsible for contact with customer/vendors
Review all purchase orders and enter into ERP System
Provide purchase order acknowledgements and quotes to customer, enter the jobs and release stock jobs as required by inventory indicators
Participate in contract negotiations that will involve obtaining inventory analysis and part usage throughout the previous year
Updates costs and create part masters when necessary
Negotiate ship dates on customer expedite requests
Participate in prioritizing machine schedules
Access customers’ websites to obtain forecasts, advance ship notices, purchase orders, acknowledgements, blueprints, supplier response reports, etc. as applicable
Enter jobs into Vantage making sure that sales orders, forecast and inventory levels are maintained
Review and coordinate delivery schedules per customer requirements
Work with Materials Manager on material planning
