Reel went for an extended swim and the customer reeled it in.

Total teardown and cleaned. Needed 4 bearings. Other than a little cosmetic issue, the reel now performs very well.

Not surprised.....

These are commonly found on Marketplace & BST groups for $30-$75 depending on condition.

This one has a broken trim ring from the outside palm side. Probably done by overtightened screws. Also both bearings are shot. Thick three washer drags are questionable.

Most likely not worth the service cost to recondition.

We'll see.
